Begin your RoveXperience guided day tour right from the Port of Wellington, where our friendly team will greet you in our branded RoveXperience vehicles, clearly marked and easy to find in the designated cruise excursion pick-up zone.

If you’re travelling independently around New Zealand and not arriving by cruise, we’re happy to arrange an alternative pick-up location that suits you.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive north, passing along Wellington Harbour, through the Hutt Valley, and over the picturesque Remutaka Hills. See the river Anduin from Lord of the Rings on your travels!

As we enter the Wairarapa, a region known for its rolling vineyards, charming towns, and rich heritage, your guide will give you a short overview of New Zealand’s agricultural, horticultural, and forestry industries, as well as what makes the Wairarapa so special.

Whether you're after views, Lord of the Rings, museums, or geological, cultural & political history - we've got you covered! Sit back and relax while you are driven through Wellington experiencing the best on offer, enjoying dramatic St Pauls Cathedral , a spectacular view of Wellington from Mt Victoria and a wonderful Pub Lunch inside a historic building.
